BEFORE
Head is shifted forward on his neck. The vertical line does not cut through the centre of his knees, hips or shoulders. Underwear band tilts backwards (as seen by the level of his underwear band).
AFTER
Head sits more on top of the centre of his neck. There is more head, neck, shoulder, upper back, glutes, leg knee and calf behind the vertical line. Chest has been lifted up. On the front of his body, there is more room between the bottom of the ribcage and the top of his pelvis. Pelvic tilt (seen by observing the angle of the underwear band tilts forwards now. His hands have shifted forwards due to his arm shifting and tilting backwards in his shoulder socket.
Note 1: To be consistent, the line on the photos on the side is drawn up from the lateral malleolus (middle of the right ankle bone). We will always be describing observations from the client’s left and right, not which side they appear on the photo.
Note 2: These photos are a snapshot in time. It is difficult to show a 3D object, in a 2D photo. You will be unable to see the new movement possibilities of the models, hear how they felt differently, or how where they are feeling the change in their body if at all. Many thanks to the models shown for graciously allowing us to view and utilize their before and after photos.
