M.Tam Massage Therapy & Structural Inegration

Front View

BEFORE

Shoulders are uneven, her left shoulder is lower. Her head tilted to the right and shifted to her left. Her ribcage/torso region is shifted to the left.

AFTER

The most major changes are her shoulders leveling out, and her head sitting less tilted on her centered ribcage (seen in the line through the belly button, and neck).

Note 1: To be consistent, the line on the photos on the side is drawn up cutting the middle of the sacrum and coccyx (through the centre of the tailbone). We will always be describing observations from the client’s left and right, not which side they appear on the photo.

Note 2: These photos are a snapshot in time. It is difficult to show a 3D object, in a 2D photo. You will be unable to see the new movement possibilities of the models, hear how they felt differently, or how where they are feeling the change in their body if at all. Many thanks to the models shown for graciously allowing us to view and utilize their before and after photos.

Side View

BEFORE

Hips are shifted forwards and angled forwards, with her legs tilting forwards and ribcage tilted backwards. Head and shoulders sit in front of the vertical line. Hands begin ahead of her thighs.

AFTER

Hips and shoulders are shifted back, with a more gentle knee-bend, more neutral/level pelvis and ribcage straighter. Her head has also been brought back. Eyesight and chin has dropped to the horizontal, and her entire arm has moved back in relation to her body.

Note 1: To be consistent, the line on the photos on the side is drawn up from the lateral malleolus (middle of the right ankle bone). We will always be describing observations from the client’s left and right, not which side they appear on the photo.
